REDD is my favorite restaurant in Rochester NY. The menu is modern and contemporary, constantly updated. The selection of drinks and cocktails is great. The staff is highly trained, with no exception, and they clearly have in mind that their customers desires and happiness come first. The crowd is interesting: varied, friendly and mingling (in particular at the bar) and you are likely to meet the local VIPs.You get what you pay for, and at REDD you get a lot… but considering that a weekend in... NYC runs in the several hundreds, if not thousands, REDD remains an excellent choice for a pleasant night out in Rochester more

The cocktail and dinner menu had a lot of original options. We sampled the pizza, risotto and scallops. Everything was cooked perfectly. The cocktails were all really unique. But the BEST part was the SERVICE. We were a large party of 14 and had many servers checking on us including our main waiter. Each drink and food item never took long to arrive at the table. The ambiance is fun and not pretentious like you might think. Also PLENTY OF PARKING!

Best restaurant I have dined in so far in Rochester. Everything we sampled was delicious, and there were some very excellent and creative cocktails, executed flawlessly. We dined inside which was a bit loud in the lively environment, but the outdoor seating also looked very inviting. I will definitely be back if I have the opportunity.

We had an amazing meal. What an affordable, close to home way to try on-point, modern, Californian fine dining. Their outside patio is lovely. I went for the special, and it was a delicious squid ink pasta with tomato, calamari, pecorino... Honestly, don't even know, but I enjoyed every bite! My fiancee's dish was a perfectly cooked halibut with clams and this amazing, frothy coconut curry... Mind-blowing. What an experience!

2022- Just spent a lovely Mothers Day brunch at Redd. Food and service were perfect. Pictures are from brunch. No update on last waiter (2021), our gent this time was lovely.2021- Loved the ambiance and the food was great. Not a five due to a snooty waiter. Good staff can make or break an expierence. All other servers and staff were fabulous. Maybe he just had a bad night. I will go back.
